One of my favorite things about this app is that it’s totally free. Your child will quickly fall in love with the endless monsters and “alpha-bot.” Super Why! The progressive learning path makes it easy for children to interact with the app at their own pace without focusing on “getting the high score.” This app introduces key spelling patterns and phonograms that are important for beginning reading and writing. It’s perfect for reluctant readers who need a little extra help and it’s a lot of fun too! Endless WordplayĮndless Wordplay helps kids practice spelling, building words, and rhyming. This app is good for kids who have struggled with learning to read because it helps children from kindergarten all the way through third grade. Plus, parents can track and monitor their progress from their own devices. One of my favorite things about the app is that kids can customize the experience to make it all their own with a special avatar, pet park, and even their own room decorations. The ABC Mouse App covers math skills in addition to literacy skills with a step-by-step learning path that guides your child through the learning standards at their one pace. The app covers two years’ worth of reading skills from beginning letter sounds all the way through reading beginner books. You can use the app at home with your child to build literacy skills with fun mini-games, missions, and quests they complete with their own unique monster creation. Teachers have been in love with Teach Your Monster to Read for years. It’s excellent for emerging readers! Teach Your Monster to Read The app features engaging activities, fun videos, and silly letter sound songs your child will love.
